Muckross Park Hotel & Spa is a very special place for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, and retirements. If you want to celebrate in style, we would be delighted to help you customise a private dining event with us.
Depending on the size of your party, we can cater for you in a variety of bespoke locations. For more intimate gatherings, we can section off space in either Monk’s Lounge or Yew Tree Restaurant. Alternatively, you might be more comfortable in the complete privacy of your own dining room. Medium-sized groups often prefer our airy, open medieval-style atrium. For larger groups of up to 250 guests, our showcase banqueting ballrooms the Abbey Suite or Valentia Suite have it all – lots of space, natural light, air conditioning, audio-visual capabilities, dedicated kitchens and their own fully-stocked bars. Whatever the size of your celebration, we can work together to tailor your menu options including gourmet dining, buffets, set menu options, BBQs and canapés.

Yew Tree Restaurant
Yew Tree Restaurant is the 5 star hotel’s main dining room, serving a variety of locally sourced menus. Awarded with many accolades since first opening in 2012, an ideal location to host your special occasion for up to 60 guests.
Bourne Vincent Suite
The Victorian style Bourne Vincent Suite in the Original House can accommodate up to 40 guests. Recently refurbished, this dining room is full of character with a large chandelier, high ceiling and original fireplace. Perfect for a private gathering.
Blue Pool Dining
Blue Pool Dining Room is beside the main restaurant with capacity up to 60 guests. There is a modern tone and a choice of different table layouts. Ideal as a family lunch venue with menu options.
Monk’s Lounge
Monk’s Lounge is a stylish location, serving afternoon tea and a delicious day menu. The lounge is full of character with sofas, high leather stools and an open fire. An extensive drinks menu awaits including cocktails and Irish whiskeys. Monk’s Lounge is popular with groups of friends visiting Killarney National Park.
