Full of facilities to help activate the muscles, stimulate the nervous system and send you on your way to a world of utter relaxation, the Vitality Suite is free to use for any guest who is having a treatment in the Spa at Muckross. Please Note: Spa users must be a minimum of 16 years of age. The Vitality Suite is complimentary for the guest staying in the Hotel and having a treatment in the Spa. €20 pp is for the guest residing in our apartments.
Vitality Pool
One of very few vitality pools in Killarney, our 12 metres of warm balmy water soothes your aches and removes your pains through a series of air and water jets that gently massage those hard to reach areas.
Jacuzzis
No day of selfish spoiling is complete without a dip in a Jacuzzi. Our two provide a pleasant massage to the body that reduces muscle tension and activates your circularity system.
Outdoor Hot Tub
Outside the spa and inside the stunning outdoors surroundings of Killarney National Park overlooking the Blue Pool River, our hot tub is ideal for post-treatment relaxation
Herbal Sauna
Our herbal sauna uses a higher humidity than conventional saunas. This further increases the health benefits associated with dry heat such as clearing the body of toxins and improving circulation.
Steam Chamber
Not only does a steam chamber induce a deep sense of relaxation, it also offers unrivalled relief from muscular aches and pains, a calmer spirit and can even improve sleep.
Ice Fountain and Tropical Shower
One of the most popular and unique features of the Vitality Suite, the crushed ice produced by our decorative fountain can be used to cool the body after a herbal sauna or steam. Then, a trip to our multi-themed tropical shower with its Cold Caribbean Mist and Atlantic Rain seasonal fragrances, further enhances the overall spa experience.
Thermal Loungers
Warm the body and relax your muscles and you sink back into one of our 8-foot long heated tiled loungers for a quick nap pre or post treatment.
Relaxation Room
Our tranquil relaxation room is a haven for those looking to rest their eyes and their body before they head into a treatment or for those looking to extend their moment of pure relaxation post-treatment.
Please note that unfortunately, Children under 16 are strictly prohibited in the Vitality Suite & Pool area. This is an Adult Only space, which has been designed for calm and relaxation.
